When Your Heart Bleeds...

When your heart bleeds beyond what you think you can handle...

When it dangles at the edge of despair...

When it lies exposed for the whole world to see...

And when it aches to the point of consuming all else in your life...

You need to visit the One who died of a broken, bleeding heart and lives today to tell about it!  His testimony will cause you to reevaluate your circumstances, and you'll come away with a new perspective on your situation. He's been through everything you have been through and some things you may never have to endure.

He gave up riches to reach out to us. He was spit upon, beaten and betrayed. He was mocked, ridiculed and derided. He endured hardships, misunderstanding and narrowly avoided being thrown off a precipice. He was hounded by throngs to be healed and fed, but He rarely received any thanks. His words were scorned, and the authorities threatened Him when He exposed their hypocrisy. He dealt with hunger, poverty and sleepless nights. He saw the future and cried, knowing none would heed His warnings of impending doom. Those whom He loved and reached out to turned their backs on Him, and His trusted friends let him down when He needed them the most.

Innocent to the end, He paid for all the crimes of humanity with His life's blood, fully aware many would turn down His offer of eternal life even after He had conquered death.

So dry your tears. Enter His presence with the knowledge that, as the Son of God, Jesus understands what you are going through...and He knows how to heal a broken heart.

In His Love, Always!

  6. Cat pointed out the missing post emails yesterday and this is the second day I'm working on this problem. It's not just this blog--there are others... but that doesn't help us. Unfortunately. I'll keep working on this and hopefully it will get straightened out soon.

    Love you guys!
