While the Titanic was being built, the captain pleaded for additional boats. His request was ignored because the ship officials truly thought their ships were indestructible.
In what are people placing their faith?
Being "good?"
Money?
Possessions?
Governments?
Others don't care or they don't believe in Heaven. They scoff as they think
they'll be partying with their friends in Hell.
These people's lives are sinking and they don't even realize it. Friends, family, and strangers need to know that Jesus is the only lifeboat There is no other way to be saved. Are we doing all we can to tell them the truth about Jesus?
"I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:6
SUNNY

Great post. Now when I hesitate to share the Gospel, I'll picture the Titanic passengers going down without a lifeboat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great analogy, Sunny.
ReplyDeleteThis is a good reminder for me.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart...not part, but the whole. He alone "floats our boat." Nice analogy.
ReplyDeleteVery convicting post, Sunny. We never know when the final mast will disappear and all hope will be gone. Thank you :)
